We are currently seeking an Office Manager to manage the administration and some bookkeeping aspects of the business.

Our high-performing interior design firm offers a pleasant working environment with a competitive compensation package for the right candidate.  This position is ideal for an outstanding professional who has experience working in office management and administration and wants a stable and long-term position with a growing firm.  The position is part-time – it requires 24 hours per week, 6 hours a day, Monday through Thursday, with the potential to become full-time in the near future.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of office administration experience

At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience

Knowledge of Quickbooks

Strong computer skills

Experience in design showroom, products or design procurement preferred

Must have a professional and pleasant phone presence

Must have a professional and polished personal presence

Must have personal stability and long term career potential 

Must be highly motivated, mature and driven to excel

 

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping Duties

Payments tracking

Project tracking and data entry

Time billing

Credit card management

Financial reporting

Financial records

Administrative Duties

Manage business licenses and insurance

Manage filing and computer directory systems

Mange phone communications

Maintain office supplies

Assist with facilities

Client services

Assist with marketing and PR

Showroom assistance

Procurement Duties

Manage purchasing and goods procurement

Coordinate product deliveries

Manage project warehousing

Coordinate shipping, deliveries and installations

Enter and manage all vendor information

Coordinate with bookkeeper regarding vendor payments

Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure they are providing goods and services
